Privacy Policy

This policy applies to Outfitly. It sits alongside the AppsRicot privacy policy; where the two differ, this one wins.
Your photos
Outfitly is a photo app with no server, which is the whole point of it. Every photo you save stays in the app's own storage on your device.
- We never receive your photos. There is no upload, no cloud library of ours, and no way for us to look at them.
- They are in your device backup. Because they live in the app's own storage, the operating system includes them in whatever backup you already use — an iCloud or encrypted local backup on iPhone, a Google account backup on Android. That copy is yours, governed by Apple's or Google's privacy policy, and we cannot access it.
- Occasions and dates — the tags you add and the date each look was saved — are stored on the device the same way.
Data we collect
None. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, and no advertising.
Third parties
- RevenueCat manages subscriptions. When you buy or restore Pro, it receives the store's purchase receipt — Apple's or Google's — and an anonymous identifier it generates for your install, never your photos, your tags, or your identity. See the RevenueCat privacy policy.
There is no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no crash reporting SDK in Outfitly. If you have your platform's diagnostics sharing switched on, Apple or Google may send us anonymous crash traces; turn that off in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements on iPhone, or Settings → Google → Usage & diagnostics on Android.
Permissions
- Camera — only when you choose Take Photo, to capture a look. Outfitly never opens the camera on its own.
- Photo library — only when you choose Choose Photos, to pick an existing photo. Both iOS and Android let you grant access to selected photos rather than all of them, and Outfitly works fine that way.
Both are asked for at the moment you use them, and both are optional — decline either and the rest of the app still works.
Sharing
The Share button hands the photo to the system share sheet — iOS's or Android's. Where it goes from there is up to you and the app you send it to; Outfitly is not involved and keeps no record of it.
Payments
Subscriptions are billed by Apple on iPhone and iPad, and by Google on Android. We never see your card details — only whether a subscription is active.
Children
Outfitly is not directed at children under 13, and collects no data from anyone.
Deleting your data
Delete a single look with the bin icon on that photo — the file is removed from storage, not just hidden. Deleting the app removes every look and tag at once. Remember that photos already in a device backup are removed according to your backup settings, not ours. To cancel a subscription, use Settings → your name → Subscriptions on iPhone, or Play Store → your profile → Payments and subscriptions on Android.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
