Privacy Policy
Last updated 15 August 2026
This policy applies to Calcly. It sits alongside the AppsRicot privacy policy; where the two differ, this one wins.
Data we collect
Calcly collects nothing about you. There is no account, no sign-in, and no analytics.
- Your calculations and history — stored only on your device, and included in your own iPhone backup if you have one. They are never sent to us, and we have no way to read them.
- Your settings — theme and preferences, also on-device only.
Third parties
One service is involved, and only if you buy a subscription:
- RevenueCat manages subscriptions. When you buy or restore Pro, it receives the App Store receipt and an anonymous identifier it generates for your install. It does not receive your name, email address, or anything you type into the calculator. See the RevenueCat privacy policy.
There is no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no crash reporting SDK in Calcly. If you have Apple's diagnostics sharing switched on, Apple may send us anonymous crash traces; you can turn that off in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
Permissions
None. Calcly does not ask for the camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, or notifications, because it does not need any of them.
Payments
Subscriptions are billed by Apple. We never see your card details — only whether a subscription is active.
Children
Calcly is safe for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Deleting your data
Everything is on your device, so deleting the app deletes all of it. To clear the history without deleting Calcly, use Clear History in the app. To cancel a subscription, use Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
